Please note that while we do love to hear from you, a phone call to our offices does not affect this policy. Any completed manuscript received without request may be deleted unread.

FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF with the kinds of books each agent represents and what we are looking for. Please read the agent bios on the "About Us" page of our website.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT SPAM or REPEAT QUERIES. If you have already sent a query and been rejected, please do not spam us or repeat the same query. It will be deleted unread.

Do you accept screenplays?
Unfortunately, we do not accept screenplays. We all enjoy a good screenplay, but we are not the right agency to help you with your film and/or television projects.

Do you accept Poetry?
Unfortunately, we do not accept poetry at this time. The website will be updated to reflect any upcoming changes in the policy.

How do I submit?
Please take a look at the “Submissions Guidelines” located in the main section of this page for information on how to submit to us.

How do I follow-up on a Submission?
For Deborah, Jane and Heather, If you followed all the submission instructions and have not heard back within 4 weeks, please write to us at with subject line “query follow-up.” This is ONLY for instances where your submission has not been acknowledged by us within 4 weeks.

Should I include any sample material besides sample chapters?
If you feel that we would benefit from any relevant articles, features, newspaper clippings etc.., please feel free to include them. However, DO NOT SEND VIDEOS, CD’s, DVD’s or other audio/visual material as we will not be able to open it.
